This website is another of my collaborations with my father, Will Ashford. It represents his work as a fine artist in the medium of printed literature. His ongoing series of art produced on the pages of vintage books has been featured in many galleries, periodicals, and published books over the past few years and this site provides a visual introduction to some of the different aesthetic, philosophical, and practical themes within this extensive body of work.
I am particularly proud of the navigation interface for the Portfolio section. It was a challenging concept to execute but I love the way it works; particularly the way that the detail views depart if you do not zoom out of them before moving on to another art piece.
